A Romantic Suspense Only If You Dare to Believe The Journalist… Catherine Hemstead Malloy had it all – riches, glamour and happiness – or so it seemed. When her husband dies in an accident, she discovers she never really had anything at all. Left with nothing but her precious daughter, Cate fights to rebuild her life—until her daughter goes missing. But she left her favorite stuffed bunny behind. Was she taken? And the knight in shining armor … Jason St. Pierre doesn't think of himself as a knight, just a man who does what must be done, lives by his rules and damn the consequences. He'll move heaven and earth to protect the innocent, and his heart. He loved once and lost and won't risk it again, especially with Cate Hemstead. Together ... Their reunion pits them against a kidnapper who is always one step ahead and takes them on a hunt from the majestic mountains of Colorado to the idyllic beaches of Hawaii. Endorsement "Ms. Sartor splashes action and suspense across a backdrop of rugged mountains and tropical paradise in a panicked search for a little girl kidnapped for reasons deeper than anyone suspects. An adventure filled with twists and turns, Dare To Believe will keep you turning the page until every secret is revealed." ~ Audra Harders, author of Rocky Mountain Hero Page count 282. Apx. 52,000

"Dare to Believe" Fulfills the Promise of Indie Publishing Freedom!

A Romantic Suspense

"Dare to Believe" is a daring adventure into a new world of fictional freedom. L.A. Sartor uses her creative freedom to write a very unpredictable and fascinating nail-biting novel. The story starts out as a potential romantic crime/mystery as the heroine's daughter goes missing. It then becomes a suspense/thriller when the evidence strongly supports a kidnapping. Soon the narrative moves to beautiful Hawaii where most of the story takes place.

Once in the islands the action intensifies and some traces of being a police procedural appear. Eventually, the story becomes a legal/thriller. With all these twists and turns one thing remains constant: the romance developing between the hero and heroine. This relationship, once thought to be hopeless, moves towards becoming a reality -- if only the mystery can be solved and justice found.

A story like "Dare to Believe" is one of the best justifications for an Indie Press and the freedom to create the kind of interesting reading experiences that are almost impossible to find in the traditional press. A Traditional publisher would ask, "Where does this book get displayed on bookstore shelves? We can't market books with this much freedom." An Indie publisher can publish books like this. And readers benefit. If you are going to read an Indie Press novel, then I believe this is the type of book to read.

Rest assured, "Dare to Believe" is edited as well as any big publisher I have read. I found no mistakes in the book. Of course, what I believe makes the book so much fun to read is that it is fresh and unpredictable. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I look forward to see what this very talented author comes up with next.

If you are interested in Hawaii, as I am, you'll be glad to know that the author has lived in Hawaii, loves it, and spends a major part of the book in this beautiful land.

For a great read and to experience one of the best of the new books coming from the Indie Presses, "Dare to Believe" is a great place to start.

Dare To Believe L A Sartor 9780985679217 Books Reviews

Childish and totally unrealistic....could have been written by a fourth grader. Wish I could get a refund. DO NOT BUY!
Dare to Believe was OK reading. It did not go into a lot of depth as far as the characters were concerned. Enjoyed reading it as a "quick" book to read.
I loved this book. Kept my interest and had mystery to it. I am a sucker for a happy ending.
This romantic suspense is a terrific debut by a talented author!
Dare to Believe is well-written. It's a fast-paced suspense that hooks and then a lovely blend of romance to soothe and delight the reader. The author's obvious knowledge and love of both the mountains and Hawaii shines through in realistic depictions of the settings. Well done! Can't wait to read her next book!
Dare To Believe is a great read. Just when you think you've got it figured out, Ms. Sartor throws another wrench into the mix. But not just any wrench, her tosses are well thought out and make sense. They just aren't what you expected until they happen. She keeps you on your toes. She also keeps you rooting for the hero and heroine to get back together. A great love conquers all story.
A child snatched from her mother; the end of an unhappy marriage; the mother reunited with her former lover in a desperate effort to find her daughter; romance rekindled in the flame of shared adversity; hope reborn because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate. Threads appear and intertwine throughout this story, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Who took the child? Why? Is she safe? Will she be returned? Vivid characters and a fascinating plot make this book a great read.
Just finished "Dare to believe" by L.A. Sartor and wanted to talk about how much I enjoyed this debut author's storytelling. Catherine Hempstead Malloy seemingly has everything, when her husband is killed in a tragic fall. That's not all that plummets. Richard's business dealings have left an unsuspecting Cate with little security, and certainly with no way to maintain the lifestyle she and her daughter Haley once had.

Ever pragmatic, Cate makes arrangements to move, secures a new job and when the movers come to load up furniture, she's preoccupied just enough not to realize her scamp of a daughter has wandered off. Soon Cate's worry turns to terror as Haley is no where to be found.

As every parent's nightmare surfaces, Cate scrambles to stop the moving van, thinking Haley is hiding inside, when Jason St. Claire skids to a halt at the sight of the woman he has a tragic history with.

Jason shouldn't help Cate, she walked out on him, afterall, and ended up with his business partner. But help Cate Jason does, first one for the sake of Haley, then because much to his dismay, he still has deep feelings for Cate.

Ms. Sartor takes the reader on an adventure not only in the beautiful state of Colorado, where secrets and the mystery unfolds as to who kidnapped Haley. From there Ms. Sartor takes us to the great state of Hawaii. Here, the mystery further unravels as well as the author's great understanding of the Aloha State.

Love, Mystery and Emotion, L.A. Sartor covers it all. A perfect romance with mystery elements readers will want to curl up and enjoy. I look forward to more of this author's books.
